Sandflat intertidal-to-shallow subtidal ichnoassociations from the Lower Ordovician of Portas de Almourão are described. Straight Nereites jacksoni following a rippled topography were found in very shallow Skolithos ichnofacies, being interpreted as simple feeding trails made by an unknown arthropod while exploiting a microbial mat.
